Almadrava is situated 5km (10 minutes)
east of the bustling resort / fishing port of Roses. It has a beautiful
sandy bay within 5 minutes walking distance from the apartment and during
the summer months there are beach bars and a local shop selling fresh
bread and groceries. This Almadrava Apartment is on the 2nd floor and is
one in a small block of four.

Prices are for the property per week, payable in Euros or pouds sterling (Sterling and Dollar rates are approximate and for information only) During July and August the change-over day is Saturday. Out of high season this can be flexible. £60 security deposit is refundable after departure and return of keys. Full payment is required in Euros, 2 weeks before date of arrival. Emails are regularly monitored on this site. The apartment is within comfortable driving distance of the international Golf Course at Perelada. Nearest airports are Gerona and Perpignan, France (1 hour) or Barcelona (2hours). Click here for details of all flights to these airports. Driving to Almadrava: This is possible in 14 hours, or comfortably stopping 1 night en-route. The distance from most Channel Ports is approximately 780 miles and about half this distance from Santander or Bilbao in Northern Spain. Roses is located on the Mediterranean in the north-east of Catalonia an almost autonomous region of Spain There are numerous activities suitable for the entire family, such as windsurfing, boat trips, parachuting, go-karting to name but a few. The town of Figueres where you can visit the museum of the artist Salvador Dali is 20 minutes away and his home is now open to the public in Port Lligat. A local market is held in Roses every Sunday. There are many lovely places to visit including Cadaques and various medieval villages such as Pals. The ceramic centre of La Bisbal is also within reach. During the winter months the ski resorts of the Pyrenees are only a 2 hour drive away. The owner lives a 20 minute drive from the apartment and is on hand to give you any information that you may require during your stay. Car rental is available from all airports and can usually be arranged when booking your flights (alternatively visit car-bookers for excellent rental rates). Car hire is essential, although during the summer months there is a local bus from Almadrava to Roses town. |
