This
webcam is located behind Passei Maritim (foreground), with Empuriabrava
beach beyond. The fine, sandy beach runs from the enterance of the
canals to the mouth of La Muga river
The best way to view the canal network is to hire a small,
electric-powered launch, available from the Port. Also available in the
Port are larger sea-going craft for sailing around the Bay of Roses.
Regular boat excursions can be made to L'Estartit and Cadaques via Cap
Creus.
Empuriabrava
is a mecca for sports ethusiasts, with sailing, water skiing, boating,
windsurfing, diving, fishing, tennis, squash, horse riding, go karting,
parachuting, mini-golf, walks and swimming all available within the
resort.
For boating on the open sea, Thalassaboat
rent motor boats of between five and nine meters, bowrider or with
cabin, and a boat can be rented either with a boat license or with a
skipper provided.
There is a wide choice of restaurants in the centre and dining there
can nicely complete an enjoyable day in Empuriabrava.
The Airport is signposted from the main road into Empuriabrava from the
C260 Roses to Figueres road.
