Golf courses around the Northern Costa Brava
As the land area around Canyelles Petites and Roses is substantially Natural Parks, and Roses Council vigorously opposes land development in these areas, there are no golf courses in the immediate area, except Castello de Empuries - a Par 3 nine-hole course by Villa Sacra, just off the Figueres to Roses Road. This new course is quite challenging with water hazards on a number of the holes - take some spare balls! Clubs can be hired, if required.
Apart from the Castello course, there are three excellent Golf Clubs ( excluding the difficult but very picturesque 1,685 yard par three 18 hole pitch and putt course at Mas Pages ) within 45 minutes drive.
