From Canyelles Petites to the northern end of Cap Creus, the sea is
particularly clear and due to the lack of silt-bearing rivers and the
prevailing currents. Meadows of marine grass filter carbon dioxide and
give shelter to schools of young fish.
The coral reefs comprise every colour and provide shelter for many
species of fish and crustaceans. Boat transport and equipment are
available from various points around the Bay of Roses and beyond. To
learn to scuba dive, take a PADI (Professional Association of Diving
Instructors) Open Water Diver course, the most widely recognized and
respected diving certification in the world. Within a few days, you can
be enjoying the underwater world.

The Medas (20 Miles from Canyelles Petites) at the southern tip of The
Bay of Roses is a must for qualified divers.

worth the drive.
